【Napa, CA】Wonderful wineries to visit
Going to Napa, California but don’t know which winery to visit?
I have two places I love. They never disappoint me with both the taste of wine and their great service. Every time we visit there, they make us feel so special and joyful.
Duckhorn
Well known place that offers excellent wine. I also like their cheese plate that comes with wine tasting. If you ask, they will let you know where you can purchase it. (so kind) Every time I go, their service is superior and always welcomes guests and makes guests at home. The facility is modest for a Napa vineyard. Many vineyards start to look like amusement parks nowadays, but Duckhorn stays traditional homey style. They serve fantastic wine, so that they don’t have to spend $$ on building, according to my wine expert friend. People come for the taste. Very cozy seating area. You’ll probably meet some of the greatest wines here. It is definitely worth visiting.
Rombour
Another place that is more economical than above, but offers great tasting wine. Very close to Duckhorn Vineyard. Both these places were so close to being burned down by the wildfire that hit Napa past year, but thanks to the private firefighter they hired, they survived ( thank goodness!)
Rombour vineyard allows guests to bring their own food (thank you), so you can actually enjoy lunch here with nice wine with a fantastic valley view. Nice cozy winery with limited seating, so they might have a time limit depending on the time of year.
Great service here as well.
Paradoxx
I like their large tasting area with huge trees. Very relaxing cozy space with well trained staff here as well. You can actually see the grapes in the field at this vineyard. Nice place to relax and enjoy conversation with staff. They are super knowledgeable and friendly.
In summary, where I usually visit in Napa, everyone has great business manners and service and great wine. Due to Covid restriction, the road is less congested now. (good time to visit maybe)
